The Playground Express

This is the first entry for The Playground Express. We're planning, fundraising, and building an Infant/Toddler Playground for the children and their families in the city of Euclid, Ohio. I am Sherrie Zagorc, the co-founder and assistant director of Kiddie City Child Care Community - a nonprofit childcare center in Euclid. I wrote and received a grant through Kaboom! and Kool Aid to build this playground using a community build model. I first enlisted the help of other Euclid child care centers and homes and now we are branching out in to the wider community. The name Playground Express came from the fact that a prominent piece of our proposed playground's equipment is a train locomotive.
